SPIR INPUT :
SPIR input details will be provided by Supplier – EPC/Vendor, by either directly entering through the web-based application, or through an offline upload utility.
- After entering the details, the SPIR data is submitted for QA/QC Review
|
SPIR QA/QC REVIEW :
If SPIR details supplied by Supplier-EPC is complete and satisfactory, the SPIR is submitted for Analysis phase, after due approval process.
- Else, QA/QC Reviewer can send back to Supplier-EPC for clarification or more information
|
SPIR ANALYSIS :
The Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) will review and recommend the procurement quantity at SPIR level as also globally across SPIRs.
- At the end of the recommendation by SME, the SPIR data is ready for multiple uses :
- Procurement of Initial Spare Parts
- Material Coding and Cataloguing
- Inputs for MM and PM modules of ERP
