IMPACT is an Asset Maintenance tool catering to Maintenance function for providing the line managers the right information at the right time so that down time is reduced as downtime is directly proportional to Production loss.

The master data start with the definition of User definable Location hierarchy levels followed by unlimited Equipment hierarchy level definition.
The complete Equipment governance is managed by linking the Equipment under Equipment Type and Sub Type combination. So, initially all the relevant requirements are defined for a Equipment Type and sub type combination. Later these features to copy to actual Equipment while mapping its Equipment Type and Sub type.

And finally the Warranty details for action on Equipment under warranty, claims etc.
The Maintenance Engineer will never encourage Breakdown maintenance. Large concerns will spend their time in better planning the Preventive Maintenance. When the PM jobs are executed as planned, there will be fewer breakdowns.
Anyways, when occurred, priority is given and the Equipment is made to perform as per its design and model. The occurrences of the breakdown, planned verses actual resource expenses are analyzed to read the strength of the Equipment.
The planned maintenance is pre-defined on a Equipment with associated list of activities along with details of frequency, expiry etc. to follow-up automated planning and scheduling.
Schedule definition could be either as Hour based or periodicity based. Single Equipment could be clubbed with bunch of PM job plans with different parameters like the activities, frequency period or with external meters fixed in the Equipment.
